kmmcrafts Posted October 2, 2021 Report Posted October 2, 2021 Seems like a decent priced starter saw or parts machine https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/352652179925307/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A461bff60-6842-4224-959e-dbbec8cbd17f OCtoolguy 1 Quote
OCtoolguy Posted October 2, 2021 Report Posted October 2, 2021 Why haven't you bought it yet? Not sure how much they are asking but I'd have to at least TRY to buy it. It needs a bellows. Or not. But to make it really a great saw, it will cost about $200 for the front tension release and the Quick clamp. Other than that, it might be a great saw. Not sure what the table looks like but who knows, maybe they covered it up when it was still new. Ask for more pics and see if it's a variable speed saw. Quote
kmmcrafts Posted October 3, 2021 Author Report Posted October 3, 2021 I don't have any use for it.. I don't need any more "projects" and this thing to me is a project. Great for someone that wants to or has time to tinker with it and get it up to par. I'd rather spend the $$ and buy a new or very close to new one and use it straight away than to chase parts down and "fix" something up. amazingkevin and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
amazingkevin Posted October 3, 2021 Report Posted October 3, 2021 I googled the schematic and the weak point has been carefully designed to not be a weak link. The rear connecting arm that joins the top and bottom arms is nice on this but the first to go on chinese saws.
