Hi all,

Hope it's not too taboo coming here with a sale for the first post : ) Although, I'm hoping to get my Hegner Multimax-18 into the hands of someone who will truly appreciate it!

It's currently for sale here in Tucson, AZ. Includes a number of blades, new bellows, and foot switch. Very lightly used and well taken care of. Manufactured in 1998.

I also have the means to get it over to the S. California area (San Diego County) via a family member who does that commute regularly. Can consider a Phoenix delivery for some fee as well, or meet up in the S. Arizona area.

See Craigslist posting for additional photos, details, and my contact info. Feel free to reach out to me directly with questions.

Thanks, and happy scrolling!  : )

I have 2 Hegners already or I'd be very tempted to buy yours. It looks like a great saw and your price is pretty good too. I've never paid that much for any of my saws but yours is like brand new. Somebody will get a very good deal. Best of luck.

Thanks! I really love the thing, I'm tempted to keep it as a piece of interior decoration until I have the space to use it. But probably not its highest use!

I've lowered the price to $600 - will be a good deal for whoever snags it.

If you really like it, I might inquire as to why you feel the need to sell it. I'd park it in a corner somewhere in your home and just wait until the desire to scroll comes back to you. Once sold, you'll probably regret it.

You may be right, I waver back and forth! I have a pretty compact place (about 700 sq ft) so there just isn't much space for storage. I'm serious about it making a good interior decoration (the design has such an architectural aesthetic), but I can't justify sitting it around for years.

I have a studio space in mind, but that's probably 2-3 years out at this point and I just can't hoard tools until then. I think I have to commit to crossing that bridge when I get there. When I bought the saw, I thought that timeline would be shorter. Next steps are a rooftop solar project in the next couple of months and so selling off some things to help fund that expense.

Well, I suppose you know what's right for you but maybe you could store it with a friend or something along that line that would allow you to keep your investment.
