Allen levine Posted November 24, 2024 Report Posted November 24, 2024 I received what I thought was a new Excalibur saw it came from Amazon box was completely taped over box was all ripped apart with some holes i contacted Amazon to return it and after contacting the seller I got a refund with the refund the seller told to keep it for the inconvenience whatever so a 550 dollar machine just keep it well the machine once I cut open the box was missing all parts included with a new saw the speed control knob on top was missing and the machines motor has a lot of scratches it turns on but unless you forcibly hold the speed control stem to the left it stops running obviously I was shipped a damaged machine i don't know much about machines but I think that is the main problem if someone is mechanically inclined and thinks they can get parts or want this machine for parts it's yours for free im not shipping or bringing it anywhere its in the storage shed and if no one takes it eventually it will end up at my sons house and if he ever has time he might try fixing it but that might not happen for years so while I'm not posting my address I will let whomever know I live 3 minutes from the green acres mall in valley stream ny the area is safe to come to day or night i won't be here until after Dec 7 but if someone wants it message me im flexible with times but I'm not looking to stay up till midnight or get up at 5 am morning afternoon or night letsvsay between 7 am and 9 pm any day with advance notice again I only have the manual with it and the foot pedal OCtoolguy and kmmcrafts 1 1 Quote

kmmcrafts Posted November 25, 2024 Report Posted November 25, 2024 If I were closer I'd take you up on that offer.. if nothing else it'd be a good parts machine for the one I have.. or maybe the one I have would be parts and use this one, LOL.. Too much of a drive for me.. Hopefully someone close to you will take it and fix it up.. sounds like it'd be a simple fix of maybe just the variable speed switch.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Allen levine Posted November 25, 2024 Author Report Posted November 25, 2024 Hope someone eventually takes it it's just going to sit in shed or my sons garage kmmcrafts and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote
