I have an old line of Makita tools battery operated on a 9V platform that I will be getting rid of this summer. They were good while the battery lasted. They were the old NiCad batteries and the life was not very long. Just like I am doing with the Dewalts I built up the whole line. I am selling also my Delta lunch box style planer that I had when I first started. Man pushed some wood through that thing but again taking up room. I am sure there will be other sorted tools hitting the marketplace sales floor. I just bought for the shop tool box full of socket sets and allen keys and variety of other tools included from Home Depot for $169. It is a 290 piece set Huskey (life time warrenty) I have plenty of Husky wrenches. I keep my sockets in the garage but every once in awhile I need some in shop so decided to treat myself to a set and this fits the bill nicely. I do not know how they sell it for that price. $700 value. Worth every penny I paid. That will be my shop set now and am covered both Standard and Metric. These tools today are metric and a pain looking for right wrench to work on something.
