Travis Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 For you star gazers or those who like wishing on a shooting star, here's your opportunity. Leonids Meteor Shower - Peak Time is Nov. 17th at 2:45am MST. You should be able to see them starting late Nov 16th. You can expect approximately 20 meteors/hr. The moon sets early, so it'll be nice and dark so you can spot them easier. Besides, its a Friday night...you'll be up anyway, right? If you miss it, Geminids meteor shower is on Dec 13 at 16:38 (4:38pm) MST with approximately 120 meteors/hr. It'll be a new moon, so plenty dark. This is something you don't want to miss. Its already on my calender. You can find more info here: http://earthsky.org/...or-shower-guide Quote
