wombatie Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Who is ready for the Day of the Doctors. It is on here at 6.30 tomorrow morning. My husband is getting up to watch it. I read the other day that the very first episode of Dr Who did not go to air because it was so bad, that they had to remake it and then it aired in England on the night that the news was saying that JFK had been shot. So it did not rate to well for its first episode. Who would have thought that it would now be celebrating its 50 anniversary. Marg Travis 1 Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Hi Marg. It's on at 7.50pm tonight here in the UK so tell him to be quick and he can watch it here. Roly wombatie 1 Quote

Travis Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 My wife and I watched it last night. We don't have BBC America (or cable TV for that matter). But Amazon Prime had it for sale the next day. We made an evening around it. My wife made up some snacks...because snacks are coool. Great episode! I can't wait for the next season! It opens up a whole new story line. bobscroll, Phantom Scroller and wombatie 3 Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 haa haa brilliant food snacks. I still think it was an anti climate after all the hype. Roly Quote
Travis Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 I think I'd have to agree a bit. Great episode, though. It certainly opens up a new story line that might be interesting to follow. However, I'm not sure how I feel about it. That event really defined who the Doctor was in the last 3 incarnations. Phantom Scroller 1 Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 I think DR WHO will wake up in a stand up shower and turn into a Dalek. what a spoiler I am. Roly wombatie 1 Quote
