trailfndr Posted December 7, 2013 Author Report Posted December 7, 2013 Boy the time an patience you've spent on this beauty.Don't you just hate selling intarsias. Kevin, I don't hate selling my work, I absolutely enjoy the fact that someone likes my work enough to give me their hard earned dollars so that I can purchase more materials and patterns, and continue spending quality time in the shop, learning new techniques and generally improving my skills by making more pieces. This "Hobby" would be too expensive to continue if I had to pay for everything out of my weekly paycheck. I celebrate the fact that I can continue making pieces, and have them put a smile onto the faces of people willing to open their wallets in order to buy my work. I would never have even considered that the hobby I began in January of 2013, would grow to become what it has in such a short time. Now with 30 plus pieces of Intarsia under my belt, (and many other scroll saw projects) I continue to challenge myself and to be my own largest critic. You and so many others on this forum, have given me the encouragement to strive to become better and to constantly improve my skills, and for this I thank each and every one of you. wombatie 1 Quote

Bishop Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Your level of workmanship and eye for detail is outstanding. The woods and grains you selected work very well. Any prospective buyer would be very happy with this piece of art. Great job Thanks God Bless Homer & Carol Quote
