Good day Hans

That makes two of us, and when you least expect it ... 'BANG' !!!

Looks like a lot of cutting on this one as well but at least they're a few straight lines ... giving you and your saw a break from all those curves. Is your saw cutting straight?

Should look great when completed.

the lady at the big box store  CNC cuts these type things,i forgot the time it takes but it wasn't quick.she gives them away as table tops with legs. Her husband put together the machine some how and it takes a while to program it.Better to scroll it ,no mistakes there! Your love for scrolling shows! :)

Very nice pattern and our cuts look good.

It looks like a challenge.

Maybe you have said, what wood and thickness are you using..

They call it triply here its 3/16 plywood good on both  sides but not near the quality of birch plywood

Great work, Hans,

Are you preparing these patterns from the Geometrip site you alerted us to?

That would be a pretty big job in itself deciding what can be cut without

making the pattern unstable.

God Bless! Spirithorse

Yes I got this one from geometrip site some are copyright protected the ones I have done so far have all been free, I start out by selecting which one looks most stable then I shade in all the pieces I want to remove with a pencil its hard to see on the picture but its kind of designing in a way cause no 2 pieces I remove can touch one or another and ones thats done of course we drill pilot holes and start cutting. a whole disc takes 6- 8 hours cutting and another 1-2 hours design work.
