Rob Roy Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) A very good Saturday to all. Today is my Grandson's 5th birthday and we are off to the Transport Museum. We are hoping to get to play with a REAL steam engine and lots of other big boys toys.So as you can imagine I'm going to be a 5 year old for the day. Mind you the wife says I'm like that every day. I can act like a 5 year old one and no one will bat an eye lid. We are also paying a visit to the Teddy Bear Factory, Ho, Ho I feel a great day is about to start . Hope you all have a good day too. Stay safe. Rob Roy. Edited February 22, 2014 by Rob Roy keefie and wombatie 2 Quote

wombatie Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) I went to the transport museum in Glasgow about 20 years ago. There was agreat sculpture there, it was of a tram with wings. The fellow I went there with was over the moon, the bus he used to drive was on display. Oh good memories. Have a great day and dont forget that you took your grandson. keefie Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 Hi Rob, you entitled this "Second Childhood" just wondering when you finished your first one???? You have a fantastic day with your grandson, they're only that young once so enjoy your time with him.  Phantom Scroller 1 Quote
rjR Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 ENJOY IT! Why bother with the 2nd childhood; I am still enjoying the hell out of my first one! Toymakers tend to be that way. Hopefully I have another 20 years or so to become an adult(Not sure I want to be-- that is like sanity--WHY BOTHER --NO FUN!) Phantom Scroller and keefie 2 Quote
