Hi all, here's one to make our talented designers scratch their heads, I will be so grateful if any of you can help me out on this. What I shall do is post the letter I received and ask if you can design something by the description he sent me.

 

Hi mate,

Cast your mind back a few months, I asked  you if you could make a sign to go on the outside of a bar in a friends garden.

The bar is called  SMUGGLE 'US' INN  he would like an old style pub sign with the name across the top and a ship like the

Cutty Sark below, but old looking.

Is this something you would be interested in doing? or could do?

Well that is what I received via email, can any of our great design talents create anything at all from this description, thanks for your time.

 

ps. just wondering if inserts would work.

Thanks Bob, great patterns, client is really spoilt for choice now.

I really like all the ideas you have so far.  They look great Roly and Bob, but here is one that is a little diffrent.  I was thinking of a cut the white pattern, with a backer behind it.  See what you think.  If you put a backer behind it you could do away with the bar the words are sitting on and glue them directly to the backer, just use the bar as a guide.  IDK.  I got bored and thought i would give this a try.

Hope to see what the customer had in mind once you figure it out.

If  I had to pick one of those patterns, I guess I'd go bonkers.

All three are very good.

That puts me in a spot since I want to cut one of them.
