A bit Late

Good day everyone, from a lovely sunny Scotland, 13C / 56 F.  A bit late for morning coffee. So we'll have afternoon tea or coffee and some sausage rolls for Roly. Another wee story while the coffee's perking.

A young Scottish couple was walking across a meadow.

The young lady looked at the lad and shyly asked  " would like to hold my hand?"

"Uh..... well yes" the lad said, "but how did you know?.

She replied, "by the gleam in your eye."

They walked a little further and the girl said, "would you like to kiss me?"

"oh my, yes," said the boy. "But how did you know?"

She replied, "By the gleam in your eye."

As they got to the stream they sat on an old tree stump, the girl looked at the boy and asked,

"would you like to go all the way with me?

"Well, oh my goodness gracious (gulp) yes!, but how did you know, was it the gleam in my eye?"

 "No replied the girl", it was the TILT in your KILT.    .
