LarryEA Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Last week I received a priority letter in the mail. I opened it to find a check payable to me for $4,650. This the letter states is to help pay the processing fee of $3850. I am a 2nd prize winner in the International Sweepstakes and have won $755,000 (Seven hundred and fifty fivethousand dollars.) I must contact my claim agent to activate my check. I took the $4650 check to my bank's fraud department and they are checking to see if the check is legitimate. Have heard nothing from the bank as yet. Does not matter, it's a fraud trying to get me to write a check for $3850. Well, I'll frame the check when I get it from the bank. Dreams. I was actually excited when I saw the $4650 check initially. As Wombatie said in a post, ' S#*t ' Larry Quote

And you have the cheek to talk about us Scots looking for something for nothing Roly. . How is the little Princess coming along, hope she's keeping you busy. I quite enjoyed looking at your you tube vids, especially the woodworking shows. We don't get anything on that scale up here. Apart from the Scottish one in the Armadillo in Glasgow once a year or sometimes only every two years. And you do have a lovely garden for the little one to explore. Very nice. Take care Roly. "If it sounds too good to be true it most certainly is". I like the garden too, but most of it is in containers as I'm in no fit state for digging etc. I just noticed this morning there's some nice juicy shoots coming up from the Hostas in a tub and loads of flower buds on the mini Azalea and plenty new shoots on the Clematis. The Pieris is covered in flowers, in fact I'll have to get the "Boss" to prop up some of the branhces as they are about to snap with the weight. The Skimmia is covered in buds too. That's about the size of my garden Roly. You take care of that little one and get the garden ready for her, which won't be too long. Rob Roy. Phantom Scroller and wombatie 2 Quote
keefie Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I know people always say you can't get something for nothing. But I beg to differ, take for example our fantastic family here. They all help out with answers to problems, we have our awesome pattern makers and I couldn't ask for a better bunch of friends. nuff said!!! Keefie. Doug and LarryEA 2 Quote
