  1. A big thank you to all of the designers. You guys did a great job. I will be donating to The Rescue Mission of Utica, NY and to the Salvation Army. Rick
  2. Thanks for sharing a great idea! I will add it to my ever growing to do list. Rick
  3. Thanks Travis. Rick
  4. Hi Travis, Do you happen to have this tut written out? I am trying to enlarge a pattern that will be printed on several pages and I find it easier to follow written instructions. Thanks in advance, Rick
  5. I belonged to this group from the MSN days but didn't get moved to the new site. Then I read the above message from Fab4 and emailed Gayle and she got right back to me and got me back into the group in 1 day. Rick
  6. I just moved my shop to a new location and I couldn't believe all of the patterns I had accumulated! Plus The ones on the desk top and lap top, back up drive and a couple of jump drives. When I first started scrolling I was really hard up for patterns! Now I am rich with them and I don't mean my name. Rick
  7. I started scrolling in 1994 cutting shapes for my wife to paint and then more of the fret work after I buried her in blanks. I started with a 13 inch craftman then quickly moved to a 16" craftman and then in '96 or '97 upgraded to the DeWalt 788 (type one). Rick
  8. I've been on this site for quite awhile too. I enjoy see you guys on what ever site we are on. Looking forward to a lot more years together here. Rick
  9. Good luck on the move Travis. Rick
  10. I have used the cut piece trick too and it also works for when you are trying to do a light sanding. When the piece is too small, instead of fingers, I use the eraser end of a pencil. Saves wear and tear of the fingers! Rick
  11. Great tips! I will have to give them a try out real soon. Rick
  12. Travis, Congrats on the new site! I would like to sign up for your drawing. One question , did you move your links over here or are they still on Scrollsaw Goodies? Rick Smith woodworker13403A www.thescrollerandtoler.com
