the play your are talking about is normal on a 788.I have been using a 788 for about 10yrs.when you tension the blade there is no play.

Hey Travis nice toy.Tha willalso come in handy if you do some Intarsia.because if two adjoining pieces don't fit tight you can trim them with that because the spindle sander will sand at a true 90degrees which is very important.

Hi scrollers I've been scrolling for about 7yrs.now. Started with Intarsia did that exclusively for about 5yrs then got into portraits.I just found this site and have been taking Travis's Gimp lessons for the last week.Thanks Travis for the great lessons.I've been wanting to learn Pattern/Portrain design.As soon as I learn my way I post pics of my Intarsia.
