It has definitely been awhile since I have been in SSV...a few life changes and some adjusting Have been looking through all the patterns, and they all look great! I have a customer who has requested a pattern of his Mom, who passed some years ago. I have been trying to stay away from "portrait" patterns, But sometimes you just get that one person who you can't quite tell no. ANY help at all with this would greatly appreciated

Hi all! My husband has been asking (nagging!) for a pattern of me...I have submitted a couple of pics a couple of years ago, but that didn't pan out - they were great, but seeing my face in a photo is rough enough, much less turning it into anything else is painful for me to think about! But, I will submit a recent pic, suffer through it and ask pretty please for a pattern if someone is so inclined to help out. Everyones work is great, and I love that the communication is great as well. Soooo...here goes nuttin' And thanks in advance for the time and effort -Tina

This is cousin Bow...(we cut out the beer in his hand!), and I am looking for a pattern I can't tell you how happy I am with the previous stencils I have had done for me through here. (A big thanks to Birchbark for his talent on a pattern of my Mom) It's awesome how you all can transform a pic into a stencil that still captures the essence of the person! Russell, Words cannot express my happiness. The stencil is fantastic, and my sister is going to love it, as do I. While my sister in law is going to create a scroll saw piece with this stencil, and one we had done a couple of years ago on here of my Dad, my sister is also going to get this stencil as a tattoo. She was very close to my mom. Again, I can't thank you enough, and a big thanks to Multitom for his stencil as well. I appreciate you both very much for even trying with a pic that size. Hello to all! I have not been on in awhile, so I am checking out everyone's awesome work, and am hoping someone can help me out with a pattern request. The picture is of my late mother. She has been gone a little over three years now, and would really like to surprise my sister with a stencil of her. Wish I had thought of this BEFORE Christmas! I know this picture isn't great, but after going through all our pics, I have decided that my mom did not like a close up shot! I do realize getting a pattern from this might just be impossible, but I had to try. Thank you to anyone who would like to try - it is much appreciated.
