  1. Thank You all for your kind words. The piece was very nerve wracking and I am glad that it is finished. Nice to work outside the box! Joe
  2. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi! I just finished this commissioned piece. It measures 16 X 20. Because my saw has a 14 " throat, this piece required that I reverse the blade in the saw and saw backwards sometimes!! This piece like the last roller coaster is in two layers with the name glued on top. Hope you like it. Joe
  3. Beautiful work! I wish you would show the base, as it appears you have much time invested there too. Where did you get that pattern from? Keep going Joe
  4. Thanks Bobby! That little application can provide many more options Joe
  5. Thank You all for taking the time to post a comment Makes a person feel special Joe
  6. Happy New Year! For those who have been to Coney Island. This is cut from two pieces of birch ply. They are then mounted together to get the depth Joe
  7. Thanks Guys! I appreciate your comments Joe
  8. Merry Christmas everyone! I finished the portrait of my wife. The wood is 1/8th birch ply. I used two blades, the FD SR #5 and the new 2/0 spiral. The frame is 110 year old Rosewood and heaven to work with. I Thank all those who gave technical help and most of all, moral support. The gimp tutorials are neat, but I have to give them more time. New Hampshire Joe
