  1. And people refer to man made projects as the 'Wonders of the World'. This was not something of man-made proportions.
  2. Happy Birthday Rich. Hope you had a great day. Helen. XX
  3. Happy Birthday Terry. Hope you had a great day. . Helen. XX
  4. Hi Guys, It has been quite some time since I've been on this site (changed computer, and lost the site but got a Happy Birthday wish from Butch yesterday so I'M BACK). I saw this and thought you guys might like to have a go at this one - I do them out of ply and use watercolour to paint the pieces before I put it back together. I've also attached one I did a while ago of John Wayne so you can see what I mean. Helen.
  5. Nice cutting Marg. I'm sure your cousin will appreciate the planes. I especially like the Tornado. H.
  6. Hi Kevin, Here's my attempt at a female bodybuilder. Hope its okay. H.
  7. Hi Kevin, Can you send me the photo of your male muscleman (the pic isn't showing up in Bragging rights) and I'll see if I can come up with a female to match it. H.
  8. Great job Edward. Its beautiful - just like the real thing. H.
  9. Erm ... I can't see any picture.
  10. Don't blame you for doing 3 at once - must remember that one . Lovely work Gina. H.
  11. Lovely work DW. I always wonder how it looks so black in the cutouts when the wood is quite thick. Works well. H.
  12. Nice one Kevin (or should that be two? ). I agree; they would make great trophies but might need a backing board to make them a little more robust (I say this having dropped a rather intricate piece and it broke into umpteen pieces ) or perhaps fill it with a clear resin like InLace? H.
  13. Well Done to both of you - Joleet for the pattern and Robbert for the cutting. I'm sure your sisters will let you keep sawing if you're creating stuff like this Its wonderful!! H

Looks really good Gina. The economy of lines is very effective. H.
  15. You need to take the word 'attempt' out of your title TJ - these are really good, not just attempts! Actually if they are 'attempts' I'd love to see your proper stuff lol. Well done! H
