  3. If you are in UK and can get decent ply at £15 for an 8x4 please tell me where! I pay about £7 for a bit 4x1. Malc Yes I am in the UK. I telephoned a local timber yard and they said they have Beech ply and can get birch. both 8x4 for £15 + VAT Going to go tomorrow and get a sheet. where do you get yours from?? I am avoiding the likes of Homebase as prices will be much more. Adam
  4. Well after doing the tutorial yesterday I thought this morning I would see if I could do a rabbit pattern of my own for a friend. I have two attachments can you guys tell if it is ok and which is the best, and any way I could improve on it ? the text is going to be changed so it has no floaters and a bit more of a tidy up all over thanks!
  5. Thanks oges, I will go out today and see if I can get some 3-4mm ply, may as well get an 8ft 4ft sheet I think they are around £15 Now all I need is a good Rabbit pattern that I can use..one of my friends keeps rabbits and thought it would be a nice gift

I wasn't sure if going all lack on the hair was the best way of doing things and if the area to cut out the nose was to wide ?? Really appreciate the tip about Flood Filling with red as well! Adam
  8. I would like to do a portrait and when done if successful I want to mount in in a frame. the frame would be one of the ones you can buy in any store, with those metal tabs that you bend over to hold the picture in. So how hick should my ply be for this?? Thanks
  9. Hi, I have just been directed to this site from a member on a pyrography forum. I was looking for lessons in how to make patterns and he kindly directed me this way. I have since completed the lessons using Gimp..not sure if what I have done is ok though ?? I have posted in the Pattern mentoring section if you guys want to have a look and advise me !!   10. Hi, I have just had my first attempt at making a pattern by following the tutorial in the University section. I couldnt find the video of it finished so I just had a go myself at finishing up. would like to know if this is ok or have I gone horribly wrong ??
