  1. Hey @Graybeardstl, happy 82nd birthday. I hope you have many more. Keep on making that sawdust.

  2. Happy Birthday graybeardstl!  I hope you have an awesome day!

  3. With the small table on the "Blade Runner" i would doubt that you would be gaining anything over the scroll saw. I would be more inclined to look into a cordless circular saw or a combo kit. I suggest CPO tools and check their "reconditioned" tools. I have had very good luck with CPO!
  4. Stack Cutting is simply sensible if you are doing portraits and using Spiral Blades! 1. Eliminates having the 'fuzzies' on your presentation piece. 2. Spiral Blades are much easier to control with the greater thickness! 3. That bottom 'throwaway' piece can often be cleaned up and used for an additional sale or donation or gift. 4. You get to keep a copy of every portrait you cut IF you so desire...ALL my major portrait cuts are either hanging on my wall or in a file box for future use.
  5. I clamp the stack and then use the blue tape on all my portrait projects. Works fine for me! ~~~GB~~~
  6. At the SAW Expo in Springfield, MO I had dinner with the folks from Bushton and they were most helpful and very nice folks. I would suggest you call them direct and talk with them.
