  1. Thanks for the tips. I didn't think about etsy and Co's website.
  2. Thanks all!
  3. Oges, Nope, I've got a different one, but that one is beautiful! Is that a purchase pattern or a free one? I'm kinda limited to free ones right now till things with the Father-in-Law really get up and running. Dan, thanks. I wish I had done the deer saw handle the same way. I really makes it pop.
  4. Thanks. I have an eagle one as well (probably the same one), I just have not gotten around to making it yet. Probably will soon though since I've recently come to an agreement with my Father-in-law, who owns a clock store in Colorado, to start buying some of my work to sell in his store.
  5. Friends in Colorado, Hello from Virginia! I have a favor to ask of you. I've recently made an agreement with my Father-in-Law, who owns a clock store in Greely, Colorado. He's going to start buying some of my work to sell in his store. He's not really giving me much to go on as far as what types of things would sell, and I don't want him to spend the shipping to send him stuff that will just end up collecting dust and taking up space in his store. What he has told me is wild life, butterflies, and birds, and signs/word are type of things. That helps some, but I would like a little more to go on than just that. I bought the Wildlife Collector Plates pattern book by Rick and Karen Longabaugh (and there is some really beautiful stuff in there!) so I'll be making some of those to send out there. Since it is a clock store, clocks and are one item I'll be focusing on, and I'm thinking Natve American items as well. Probably some puzzles too. If anyone could help me out with some more ideas, and with what things are currently going for out there so I can get my pricing right, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Bill
  6. I'm sure you all have seen these from other members already, but I wanted to show them off anyway. I've been scrolling since January and these are currently the best I've done. I nearly broke my arm patting myself on the back when I finished them. lol
  7. pdmclardy-You can pick up a cheapo miter box and saw at Lowes for like 8 -10 bucks. The important thing, though is to make sure what you're framing is perfectly square. If not then you're 45's will still be off a little. I learned that the hard way.
  8. I glued a thin smooth plastic sheet to my table. It's about 3/32" thick so doesn't really affect how my blades cut. I clean it off with some WD-40 bout twice a week. Works great for me.
