I am currently working through The Base Pattern video & am confused on a detail. In the very beginning when he loads the project & goes to the Layers menu he has 2 layers. 1 is the Pasted Layer that shows the pictures & 2 is the Background that looks blank. I do not get these same layers. I get 1 Floating Selection (Pasted Layer) that looks blank & 2 Background that looks like the picture. In addition, I am not able to click on the Background layer at all. I have redone the steps several times & even went back & watched the Creating a Workspace video a 2nd time & still get the same results. What am I missing?!?!
