    Thanks. My saw quit working. I tried different outlets, checking the fuse, let it rest, etc. It would not work. I finally got hold of a friend just an hour ago, who dug the brushes out with a dental pick. The spring was squashed into the receptacle on both sides. Now the saw is working fine. Thanks for the suggestion though. I agree, the DeWalt normally works smooth as silk. Katie

    The manual says I should keep my brushes clean. I removed the brush inspection caps. the manual says I whould then withdraw the brush assembly. I see nothing to withdraw. There is nothing that moves. Can anybody explain to me how to get the brushes out? Thanks, Katie
