Thank you for the input. I turned it in each direction so often, it was just extremely tight, so after soaking it with some WD40, and turning it counterclockwise, it finally broke free. Now to get it back together so i can get back to my projects. Thank You again!!

Is there a trick to removing the tension knob rod on a craftsman scroll saw? I need to replace it, but can't get it to budge. Any suggestions?
