  1. Thanks jt
  2. Does anyone have or know of a trout pattern? I know some people here are super generous but please don't go to any trouble. Thanks Gene
  3. I generally use Olson #64502, Universal #5R, Width .038", Thickness .016", 13/7TPI Blade. The blade has a few reverse teeth at the bottom. Sometimes I use a # 3R for tighter work or a blade with slightly larger teeth with no reverse teeth for thicker/harder wood. With fretwork on 1/2 inch maple these blades don't seem to be working so well. I just ordered the Flying Dutchman assortment from Mike. Any suggestions?
  4. I am really happy with this project. My wife wanted the typical state shape with family name for our campsites. Everyone has one in the campgrounds. They all seem so dull and lifeless. Russell aka Birchbark, made a pattern for me and the results are great. People will definitely stop to look at it!
  5. I got that from Steve Good's website. Lots of good stuff there and Steve is awesome. http://www.stevedgood.com/fancyswitch.pdf I forgot to post my favorite piece, the dog butt clock. That and 2 others from Steve's website.
  6. Everyone has been great, especially Russell that made a pattern for my family and wants nothing but to see it done. I never thought I would but I am going to post some finished items, all of which are downloaded patterns not my own.

My mistake. You can find "mature" patterns with the aforementioned password at www.free4allscrollsawpatterns.com. There is a reason it is password protected.

The mature patterns are called pin up.
  9. That is a good point Chippy. The saw has an electronic board and probably should be protected that way. I did find the problem. The black wire coming from the potentiometer came off the board. It must have been loose and finally vibrated off.
  10. Does anyone know of any common electrical problems w/ dewalt dw788 type 1? It is not the fuse. The ohmeter says the problem is not in the switch. Thanks Gene
