Russell, you are right. I should have thought about that before I posted. Don thanks a million. I don't think the distortion will matter, as I will come back and router the scallops to clean it up or so I hope.

I need help with resizing a pattern from the pattern library. It is one of the arrowhead patterns. I need it resized to 8.5" x 14.5". I just need the arrowhead outline itself. Trying to cut a arrowhead plaque. Thanks

Thanks for all the great compliments and advice. I agree with you Kevin about the raw edge, the piece was given to me with only one side of the raw edge on it and my wife said the same thing as you. Marg, I total agree with you about more cutting on the long board. I hated to cut off any of the wood and waste it because the mesquite looks so good finished, but being new to scrolling I haven't got the hang of pattern making this was a free pattern that I found online. I would have liked to cut more of the grass on the long board. Again thanks to all!

I just finished this mallard duck for a co-worker. Cut from a piece of 1/4 mesquite lumber.
