Thanks guys, I used a #2spiral blade for the whole thing, and the tractor and border are quarter inch oak and the piece it is inset into is three quarter oak.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that the site is awesome. I got my scroll saw a couple of months ago and I haven't been able to stop. The help and ideas that I have come across while reading here are the best. I love the portrait thing I had never seen that before. Any way I have a couple of projects done and I wanted to share. The first thing I did was the hummingbird puzzle and the last was my wife's portrait, gimp is awesome. I got a lot to learn but its a start.
