  8. You people are so good at making patterns and my sister needs help with a gift for her husband. Birthday time and she says he has everything so she ask me to make a portrait of his folks. I said I would with the help of some friends that are more talented than I. So attached is a photo of his folks, and THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! hlron
  9. To everyone that sent back patterns again THANK YOU. I have to tell you it brought tears to the eyes of the family. But as far as me showing you a pic. of the final cut they came and got it while I was gone and I hadn't got a picture of it yet. My wife said everyone was hugging and it really meant allot to them so THANK AGAIN. I'll get a pic of the next one I promise. I'm sure I don't cut as well as you make patterns but I try!!

Her and the mother of her husband are going to decided which one of the fine patterns they want me to cut out for the gift so Thanks again to everyone.   12. I have an Excalibur 21 and I thought I have made all the need adjustments to correct the problem but on small blades I still have bent ends. What do you suggest?

This is the best picture she could come up with. so please do the best you can so I can stay in the good graces of my grandchild.   16. Thank You in advance!! The family of this couple asked me to scroll a portrait of their folks for them. The father has past away and the kids want some thing nice to put up in their mothers home. I've done portraits before and the family knew that, so came the phone call. My pattern making is very poor at best, I need newer version of software. What I have doesn't cut it. I want to really thank you in advance because these are really nice people. Thanks Again!!! hlron ps. I'll send a picture of the portrait when it's completed!!

  18. This a bad picture but this is all the family had. He as pass on and my family would like me to make 3 portrait for members. They want them for lasting memories. I tried to make a pattern but couldn't make it look right so the family would really appreciate if someone could make this picture into a pattern. Thank You in advance. hlrondh
  19. This is hlrondh1 (Dick H). and I'm all but new to this board but what you are getting at is right. Most of us do this for a hobby. I do it because I've had a bad heart attack and I have some other heath issues but what keeps me going each and every day is the thought of my grandchildren and my wood shop including the scroll saw that I use daily. It is relaxing and rewarding to see projects become gifts for the kids and watch the smiles on their faces. The little money that we spend on blade is secondary.
