  1. how tall is this stand, may i ask? ive been wanting to make a table for my saw where i could sit down and work on it. in my own opinion, im better at scrolling than building furniture.. lol
  2. as far as the little fuzzies on the back of the piece are concerned, i normally use a small torch to burn them away then use a small sanding block to scratch the burnt fuzzies away.. it does a good job.
  3. i use olsen spiral blades.. usually 41 to46 tpi and all my holes come out real smooth.
  4. i also uploaded pictures of some of the completed projects ive done since i started. comment or tips on getting better would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
  5. hello there to everyone in the village. my name is chris, and Im kinda new to scrolling fretwork. i stumbled into it from boredom one day in my dads basement using an old Craftsman 15" scroll saw that only took the 3" pin-end blades a couple years ago. never did it before in my life, just tried it, and liked it. Anyway, im glad to have stumbled on this site and shared my story and interest with people who share the same.. just curious on what kind of software there is to start making my own patterns. microsft paint just isnt working, lol. -new member, chris
