Love the work Bob!.....Outstanding!....Is that a Hibiscus bloom..and if so, where did you find the image for the pattern?....Really like the way that Pops!
Surfs Up & Off Road Fire truck are both from Oregon Jibaro Workshop(great patterns)..Both are cut from 1/4 BB using 3/0 FD new spiral blades...natural stain ..black backers. Enjoyed cutting both these great patterns...Thanks for looking!
I use the FD new spiral blades and do nothing to the ends before loading them....once in a while i have a problem clamping them...but no more than a normal flat end blade.
I use a small 2" foam roller and tite bond wood glue ... Roll the entire back of the piece that i am attaching to the backer...clamp or press for several hrs and then use a 23ga. pin nailer in the corners.......Works for me.
Ps.....The roller leaves a very thin layer of glue...no ooze.
Paul read my mind.....I am using flat and new spiral blades both, but my go to blade is the 3/0 new spiral...right now i am more relaxed using that blade..to each his or her own.....SCROLL ON!!!
