Please forgive me for posting a question that has already been asked a hundred times, but is it possible to use inkscape to create a portrait pattern from a photograph? I am completely new to portrait pattern design and I am not sure if inkscape is the better choice or would gimp, for example produce a better portrait. I would greatly appreciate any help from anyone who can steer me in the right direction. Louis
