This stuff has a reddish color to it.I find it is great for cutting as it is not brittle as the birch is sometimes.

They are great. I am an eagle fan.they are all beautiful but eagles catch my eye.

That is some nice work Paul.I believe when you put the hands on the face,it will highlight the darker wood colors.

Luan is a cheaper ply I get here at a building supply store 2ft by 4 ft for $5...1/4 inch great for a lot of things

I get the binder rings at Staples.yes they can open easilyYou get 16 for $4.00 here. I use 1 inch rings and also the paper from Staples also . size is8.5 by 5.5. Also $4.00 for 100 sheets

Finished this one today..Approx..6.75wide by 17 inches long. 1/4 oak with luan backer painted blue.I had laid it on a blue table cover and it looked good so that is how I decided on blue backer.
