  1. Nice work, I think inlays make a good design more special. Going to have to try some.
  2. Friend visited Nashville and came back to UK and asked me to make him a mic stand like he saw at the Opry. Painting it took longer than making it!
  3. A few more. Was surprised that the woman's heels came out so well. Cut the biker for a triathlon mate.
  4. Hi Larry, I use whatever wood I have to hand, as I usually have lots of off cuts from other wood construction projects. I am a school governor and my wife is a school teacher and I am always being asked to make stuff for school. The bike is 3/4", guitarist 1/8", country cool is 3/8". I also use mdf 1/4" to 3/4" although it is far from my favourite wood. Would be delighted for you to try some of the patterns. Like the big idea
  5. Thank you all for the comments. I don,t know why the pictures came out upside down etc. They were taken with my iPhone so can only presume I held the phone the wrong way round Saw is an Axminster AWFS18 and I use whatever wood comes to hand, ply, pine, also have a lot of old oak flooring that I use for mounting stuff on.
  6. Having read the forum for a number of years, thought it about time I posted some of my work. Most of my cuttings are adapted from Steve Goodes' patterns.
