  1. Hey guys, finally finished the plaque up and it turned out great! Special thanks to @multitom for the pattern and to all others who generously offered patterns for the project. The church actually gave it to our retiring church leader this evening and it was well received. Again I appreciate the help, Thanks, Martin.
  2. @Kris Martinson@multitom Wow guys, these look great. The pattern looks awesome Mahendra. You all are making my decision for which pattern to use harder and harder. I Appreciate the offer Kris, I'll let you know if I end up needing it. I want to incorporate a Bible verse and clock insert into this project as well, so things are still very much in the planning stages. I'll be sure though to post a pic of the finished product though. Again I appreciate all the patterns, thanks, Martin.
  3. @JimErn Okay great, I'll be sure to check them out and look them over. thanks Jim.
  4. Hey guys, I've been recently commissioned to cut a pattern for one of our church leaders who is retiring from the ministry. I've been searching for a pattern suitable for the project and have been checking different scroll saw websites and so on. I've found one or two patterns that are intriguing, but was just wondering if anybody else had any Idea where some more may be. It needs to be a fairly advanced pattern, preferably featuring Jesus or a Shepard figure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Martin.
  5. Okay, Thanks guys for the input. I'll take your advice and give it another go. Jerry, this sawmill was kind of a homemade rig my grandpa operated in Northern Indiana. The electric motor was powering a smaller blade that you can"t see very well. But that smaller blade would knock off any dirt so not to dull the main blade. Above his head is a wooden handle that you would pull down to engage it. Hope that answers your question. Thanks, martin.
  6. Hello everyone, just wondering if you guys think that this picture is possible to make in a pattern. I'm fairly new to pattern making and I have made a few using GIMP. But this one I had trouble with. So just wondering what you guys thought. Thanks, martin.
