Hi, This is a pulpwood stacker used in the paper making process. It is the only one left in the world. It is designated a historical site. There was a sawmill at the base of the stacker. the saw would cut the larger eight foot logs into smaller chunks and then they would be elevated up the stacker and dropped off onto piles in the wood yard. There were water canals in the yard and they went under the road into the beater room of the paper mill. The stacker was taken out of use about 1972. It does not move. It is a landmark for our town. I would like to create or have an ornament created of the stacker. One other person has shown some interest but he had the same concerns as you have. The photographer from our local paper felt she had pictures the could be of use. I do not know if they have been sent yet. We are still having winter here. We have gotten about 12 inches of snow in the last 3 days. We have a forcast showing cold for another week-right around the freezing mark. The structure really defines itself. I would like a scroll saw pattern or a pattern to carve it.

Can someone make a pattern of the stacker so I can carve it?
