    I found a Hegner Multimax 18 for $375. The Match number is 401177. I can't find anywhere that tells me the age, the guy who is selling it guesses it is about 20 years old. It looks in good condition. It is a variable speed and he says the motor runs well. It is about the same price as the Hawk 226VS I was looking at, and way cheaper than the new Dewalt I was looking at. What are your thoughts?

    I'm looking at getting this scroll saw for my husband. It is $350. I think that is a good deal from what I have been researching, but the daughter is selling it for her father and doesn't know how old it is. I can't find that information online, so I am hoping someone here can help me. My other option is to buy a new Dewalt 20". Which would be better?
