  9. Greetings, Two done and I plan on making two more. The pattern is from BerryBasket but, I modified it from the Catholic version with our debts to the Protestant version with our trespasses. I also had to modify the sides due to the added lines of text required. Approximately 35 hours total but, that includes gluing up patterns for the framework of the next two. I already have all the wording cut. All 1/4" Baltic Birch cut with an 18" Craftsman scrollsaw. Embellishments stained Colonial Maple and the backer stained Early American. Approximately 22"W x 28"L. God Bless! Spirithorse
  10. Birch plywood 1/6 inch (4mm) finishing - gloss varnish blades: #1 of LuxTools (Germany) This one was more difficult to assemble than previous (http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/27191-amazing-geometry)
  11. all 3/4" plywood .i added paper backers to old ones just posted this week.New one is the squirrel
  12. My wife surprised me with a new 16" King saw for Christmas. After using it some since Christmas I am very impressed. My previous saw was an old Craftsman 20" Professional. The difference is amazing. Very little vibration and the noise level is very low. I had done some fretwork clocks and a couple chess sets on the old saw that would have turned out much better on the King. First thing I removed were the top and bottom blade guards. Really enjoy being able to top feed. I was able to center the blade hole up after taking it off to remove the bottom blade guard.
  13. Birch plywood 1/6 inch (4mm) finishing - gloss varnish blades: inner cuts - #0, outer - #3 of LuxTools (Germany)
  14. Birch plywood, 1/4 inch Flat blades #3 LuxTools

  17. This is from the Fall 2017 issue of SSWW. I cut it this past weekend. Then I had to find a base. That always takes a bit of time, I stash unusual pieces I find in other woodworking garbage. Mostly pieces to bad for furniture builders. The eagle s cherry, the base is oak.
  18. Reccomended size of this pattern is 10 x 14 inches, As usual I reduced size to make it more difficult and interesting to cut - my project is 8 x 12 inches. pattern by Alex Fox - http://alexscrollsaw.wixsite.com/scrollsawpatterns/patterns
  19. Reccomended size of this pattern is 12 x 12 inches, my project is 8 x 8 inches. pattern by Alex Fox - http://alexscrollsaw.wixsite.com/scrollsawpatterns/patterns
  20. Birch plywood, thick 1/4 inch, diameter - 8 inches
  21. Hi, Another try. Better than previous attempt. Can provide making details. Just let me know.
  22. This fretwork was found in First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. From a distance, it looks like one piece, close up you can see how he put it together. I would love to see the saw he did this on. It could have been with a hand fretsaw, but I doubt it. I'm thinking early pedal powered model.
