Here is my third ever pen turned from NZ native Rewa Rewa. I used a couple of tubes of super glue trying to get a finish on this and ended up having to sand it all off and start again. Eventually it came out good though, although I think the bulge is a bit too pronounced on this one. Rob

Recent posts by PaulHD got me interested in pen making so I invested some of the profit from my last craft fair in the necessary tools etc. These are my first two pens in native New Zealand hard woods: This one is Kauri with gold fittings. This one is Black Maire with copper fittings. It was fun to dust off my old lathe and I'm sure I will be making more of these. Rob
