I just got my new (to me) scroll saw up and running. I found an RBI 226VS on Craigs list and bought it for $300. It came with 9 blade holders and about 60 or 70 dozen assorted blades and a foot switch. My son helped me put it together. I put the wheelchair legs from my 216VS on it and my son got to take the 216VS home. It looks like it was hardly used. Cuts a lot like my 216VS did but seems to be a little smoother.I really like the quick release lever up front.

Congratulations on the new saw! I hear a lot of folks find some killer deals on Craigslist. I'll have to keep my eye on it more. Sounds like you got a great saw, and your son will have his own to feed the addiction. I can't wait to see your first project from your new saw! ;)
