Travis Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I got an email from Rockler. They're test-driving a new way to present printed material. If it works, it looks like they'll offer magazine subscriptions via digital distribution for half the price. Right now they're in the testing phase. You can get the full copy of Woodworker's Journal here for free (I think its the latest issue). I think I prefer a tangable magazine, but this is pretty slick. Anyway, here's the link for those interested. Hopefully it will work. Quote
ugsduck Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I like the idea and I realy like the way it has been implemented to be easy to read through. Now if some of the USA Scrollsaw mags could do the same it would be very welcome in the scrollsaw magazine starved UK. Keith Quote
Christina Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 I agree with you Travis.........I prefer a tangible copy also. But it's still kind of a cool concept and saves on paper and postage............not to mention you probably get it sooner. Thanks for letting us know. Christina Quote
