okay wanting to do some sales this fall and going to have some big ticket items. has anyone had any dealsing with the credit card skimmers that attach to your phones.. cost/up front cost. who to use more important who not to use. i haveno information just checking the waters

Good idea Gator, people are willing to use plastic for there wants rather than cold hard cash, so your going in the right direction.!

I have both Paypal and Square.  I like PayPal because it goes into my PayPal account (which I call my Swiss Bank Account/Tool Fund).  Square is really nice too and I think it's cheaper than PayPal.  Both work well.  I'd choose one of those.

We've used Square for over a year now and love it. They are the fastest into my checking account, the cheapest on charging per swipe. Over half of our sales over the past year have been because we could accept the card.

 

Very definitely recommend you look into getting it before your next show.

I used Square last year and had no issues. You are correct to assume people with plastic will pay for higher priced items.

We have been using one through our bank for about 2 years and have had no problems. I know we would have lost some sales if we did not have one. Make sure thatb you have good cell coverage where ever you go or that might be a problem.
