Some of my tools are home!

When  I get all of them home, I will be doing the happy dance.... I have my drill press and some of my hand tools and turning tools and forstner  bits and some of those type of tools. Big yellow and the lathe should be coming home tomorrow. We will try to get a larger truck and go  get the rest of our stuff from the house tomorrow. There is going to be problems as the rentor had an attitude big time with us . She reached for the garage door opener and I told her I was not handing it over until we have all of our stuff back... She got an attitude and claims that there are things that belonged to her grand father in the garage. I told her all I want is my personal belongings and that is all and Sis wants hers. Thank God her grandson was here to help us out a bit but all we had was the pick up and we did get some of Sis's furniture and my drill press and other tools. I so wanted to get Big Yellow and the lathe on the truck but hopefully we will tomorrow. Bill and I cam load pretty fast and we have the front end of the garage almost empty. We still have my curio cabinet to load which will come to my apartment and there is a plastic storage cabinet that I wanted to put my tools in but if Sis wants to use it then that is fine. I have a roll top desk in there  too and I want that go come home but it will have to be stored at Sis's garage. So let us hope there will  be no more problems as I'm sure there will be. The owner of the property and her daughter have been nothing but mean and rude to us from the get go.  Every time I think of it my blood pressure builds up... Well I best get to bed.. Good night.. All of my tools are home now.. Will go spend time with Sis this week and start to get the shop set up. I can now do the happy dance but will look though some of the boxes of tools that I have and see if every thing is there. I know I won't have all the scroll saw blades but that if fine because I have used a lot of them. So it's going to be fun getting that new shop set up. Will have to snap some pictures of the new set up. but there is a breaker box so I will have to have a look at it to see if I can fix the rest of the outlets and such. We will get more lights to put in and then it will be pretty well lit for turning and scrolling. Happy dance, happy dance... We have one more trip to make to get the rest of our belongings from the house in Sequim and then we can safely say we  are done.....Fay

Good to hear you are nearly there Fay, Don't forget to fit a nice carpet and

some paintings on the wall's, Also a bunch of flowers on a side table!

LOL Bob,, it does need a woman's touch at that. Uncle Dick was an auto mechanic so there is some oil in places but one day will look in the habitat store for some used counter tops that might fit on work bench. We have a small load of stuff to bring back home but Sis and I can go get that and I will give the renter the garage door opener. I didn't have it on me today. It got ugly for awhile today but after she calmed down and such then we were able to speak with her. We left her a rocking chair and a few other things that we did not have room for, but the shop vac and a couple of larger chairs that Sis wants, we can get those in the pick up. So maybe next weekend we will do that. I will take my time in getting the shop set up and I want to try to get things organized better so we can make room for the stuff we have to bring back....
