You got a winner! It looks great. The tray is a good addition.

But, picture #1 looks like you might get bit if you reach for the gumball.

I made one once and the gumballs would sometimes hang up.

I didn't make the prize dispensor correct. It was a little hard to turn.

Yes indeedy!  love the rim look on the removeable tray! i'll bet a plywood bowl would look great if this part looks great

The whole thing is made out of appleply and since I have been making them, a couple of years now only one person has used it for gumballs to the best of my knowledge.  Most have been using it for Skittles and M&Ms.  The key is the amount of edge feathering you have inside and on the wheel opening.  Real easy to make and a kid drawer at the craft fairs and shows.  Filled with Skittles the bright colors draw them in like a magnet and they light up when they are allow to give the wheel a spin and they get their candy.  I try to have at least one or two at each show.

You are a brilliant salesman, get the kids interested and mum and dad are obliged to buy one just to keep little Jane / Jimmy quite, sounds good to me.  Like Version 3, getting better and better all the time.

Very, very nice DW, I like version 3 too. The "sales" technique is excellent. Having 2 Grandsons, I've been caught out a few times myself, but it's all good fun. Keep making them DW. Thanks for sharing with us.
