Savannah Scroller Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Woke up to Raining like crazy . Grrr-I left some wood that I picked up yesterday outside now its all wet but its Cherry so I hope it will dry out ok. Guess I will spend most of the day in my Shop. I am Disabled and can't do a whole lot . I love movies but right now nothing worth seeing is playing. Next week I will go see the new Hobbit movie and mabey the Latest Hunger games movie. Another Hobby of mine is movies-I have about 3000 or more in my collection. I have just about every Western ever made and a lot of the classics. Most of my movies are Action type but I will collect about anything if it is good or interesting. I also read a lot . I like William Johnstone's books. Well he is dead now and his son J.A. Johnstone is writing in his name now . He is not as good as the father but I still like his writing. Well time to face the day. KEEP ON SCROLLING!!!! LarryEA, Scrolling Steve and bobscroll 3 Quote
LarryEA Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Savannah Georgia Man, enjoyed your chat in the Coffee House. A little rain can't hurt that cherry wood. Whatcha got planned for it? I like working with it. I have some Cherry with the bark still on, I like doing wildlife on these. Yea, you mentioned movies, haven't been to a movie since a drive inn... LOL... not really. But it has been a long time since I went to a movie. We watch CD, DVD's...etc at home. WE bought the Carol Burnett series, haven't watched it yet. ANother one is 'Larkrise to Candleford' and as for as my reading goes, I read lots here on SSV. Well days over and you dry that cherry and keeep scrolling. Larry Quote
wombatie Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 I can't go to the cinema I get motion sickness so spend most of the time looking at the walls or the arm of my seat, so I wait for them to come on TV.. My husband collects DVDs mainly Westerns and War films. Give me a good comedy any day. I read a fair bit too, mainly stories based on the 2nd world war not sure why or how I got into them, just did. Gary Beasley Posted November 25, 2014 Report Posted November 25, 2014 Yes the soundtrack was out of sync with the projection, I think it's more a technical glitch with the projection system. Didn't keep the movie from being good. bobscroll 1 Quote
