More chance of me winning the LOTTERY than JOGGING Keith. My old ticker is going hell for leather at the mention of jogging.

    .

Rob Roy.

Rob, Mine's going cause I have my ATOS medical on 17th Feb!!  Government won't be happy till they kill off all the sick and disabled.

I'll be different, I'm off to the gym in a few minutes.

We took my daughter out for brunch on her birthday at the end of December. She told us that she and her husband would be running in a 5K event on Memorial Day. I laughed out loud, not because it's a bad idea, but neither my daughter nor her husband are fitness people - if you know what I mean. The prefer running for pizza and beer than to jog around the lake.

So they were 'hurt' by my response and challenged me to try it. Well I too prefer pizza and beer but a challenge is a challenge. This will be my third trip to the gym. I'd run outside but it's +2 this morning. On the plus side we haven't had any snow to speak off so the walking/jogging paths are free of snow/ice. But breathing in that cold air always gets my sinuses running - yuck.

I'm more likely to win Lotto because you will never catch me jogging anywhere.    Keith are you STILL going through all of that rubbish with the Government?

Marg, it's worse than everevery time they catch someone fiddling the system it's all over the papers with the government saying there is too many cheaters, but now they hounding the sick too. One woman in a wheelchair lost her disability allowance as she could "mobilise" more than 20 yards so she lost her modified disabled car, she couldnt get on the bus in a wheelchair so they stopped her jobseekers allowance as she couldnt get in to sign on and look for work - they are trying to kill off all the sick and disabled.

Sounds like over here plus they want people to stay at work until they are 70 which is OK if you have a desk job but if you are a manual worker like Terry then he would not last until he's 70, he has enough trouble now with his knees, almost no cartilage left in either of them but he's got to wait 15 years before anything can be done.  STINKS.

The only time I jog  is when the wife wants to have a conversation......  Then its more like a run for you life.. Its amazing how much energy you can get when you need to.

Thank God she doesn;t read this forum.   I would be a marthon runner.....

Gotta love her.
