Steve Curtis Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 I worked on this most of the night last night and into this morning. This was a photo in my pattern request and trying to make it myself. I do know it still needs lots of work. Any tips or idea's? I did finally set Gimp2 loaded but I am using inkscape and my paint room from my computer. lawson56 and amazingkevin 2 Quote

ChelCass Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Try posting the picture you are working from so our pattern makers have some to work from. Quote
Scrappile Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 I think it is looking good and you are still working it. My onlye comment is much thinner lines and many more bridges. I am not a patten maker, so take it for what it is worth. Making patterns is hard for me. I try every once in a while, get impatient and give up. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Steve great work just make sure if it's to cut watch for floaters which you see in white in eye and ear the rest might varnish if you extent the canvas bigger than the image. well done. Roly Quote
Steve Curtis Posted March 13, 2015 Author Report Posted March 13, 2015 Thank you so much Roly, I am trying really hard. I know I am also starting with a hard photo for the start, humans are always hard to do. I will practice more with some easier photo's. Thank you so much for the tips. Steve Quote
