LarryEA Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I like doing Image Transfer. Moving the ink from paper to wood. It's not decoupage, just the ink is transfered. It would be a great way to put your pattern on wood except you need a mirror image and you do have to remove the paper from the wood and that is a little time consuming. Hope you like this one. There isn't a finish on it yet. I thought about trying to wood burn this one. Quote

Fab4 Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Hi Larry: What type of printer do you have. I don't think this works with just any printer. I could be wrong............again!!! That does look awesome BTW. Fab4 LarryEA 1 Quote

That does look awesome BTW. Fab4 Laser Jet Printer and I think you're right... not just any printer. Also the paper you use should be uncoated since the coating transfers also. Though the coating is slight and hard to see, Quote

LarryEA Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 That would look nice on wood burning, Yes, I agree... but it may take a pyro artist better than I to do it justice. I have an AC Moore $35 burner... Though I must say, the way it is, is nice. Quote
amazingkevin Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Yes clear coat with 50 coats in one application would look very nice! Quote
LarryEA Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 Yes clear coat with 50 coats in one application would look very nice! Kevin, will you please re-phrase the above. It's late and my mind is a little foggy. I don't think I want to do 50 coats.... Quote
