Inkscape Class On DVD

Well, it took a little longer than I'd hoped, but I finally got the entire Inkscape class on DVD. You can still download and participate in the class for free in the Village University forum. This is the EXACT same series available for free. No additional material is included. So why offer it on DVD? Some folks have trouble downloading video because of dial-up issues or slower computers. Others prefer learning in the comfort of their own living room. Either way, you can now get a copy of the class on disk. This 3 disk set includes 2 DVD's which have all of the video instruction and 1 CD which has all the written instructions and illustrations. I had somebody on dialup ask if I can send them the program on CD since it was difficult for them to download large files. So I took a look at the license for Inkscape and GIMP and discovered that I'm allowed to distribute the software. Folks, I can tell you that this tutorial is outstanding. After I downloaded Inkscape and used their help files and played around for a while, I gave up on it. Then, when I found the tutorial by Travis, I felt I could actually use the program. I by no means consider myself a pattern maker, but if I decide to spend some time I think I could do just that. If you plan to give Inkscape a try, please go through all of Travis' Inkscape tutorials first. You won't regret it.
