Portrait help needed

I have been trying to get this into a workable pattern and have had very little luck.  The faces have been my biggest problem.  I'm not as concerned about preserving the details in the dress or background obviously.  These are my father-in-law's parents.  Anyone willing to help?  Thanks in advance.

I fiddled with the threshold a little and may be able to work off of that a lot better.  I'll keep ya'll updated when I get a working pattern/cut.  Thanks for your time.

Ha Don, i forgot i even downloaded that, i waited and then went on to other things.  It was a big file.  I was thinking it would be a fun, easy one to play with.  Thanks for posting it in a size we could see.
