WayneMahler Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 Hi All Trying my hand at Intersecting word Art. I use Corel Draw x6 and can get everything laid out with out much of an issue. The problen I am having is how to get the spacing correct between the Large letter and the smaller script lettering. I can not get the space around the script to be wide enought to make it cutable. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what I doing wrong. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Wayne Quote
bobscroll Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 Hi Wayne, I use inkscape, What I do is copy the small letters and then increase the size of those letters, That becomes the back ground you use to cut into your large word if you understand me, Then you place your original small letters in the large word o.k. Bob P.S It's hard to put it into words!!! Quote
WayneMahler Posted May 26, 2015 Author Report Posted May 26, 2015 Bob Your right it is hard to put into words. I duplicated my smaller letters, changed it to a different color ( grey ) and put everything back together. Did not get the results I was looking for. I'm sure I'm missing a step someplace. Tough getting old and having a work load for a 21 year old. Maybe I'll just ask you to make the pattern for me. Actually the more I think, the better it sounds. Thanks Bob Wayne amazingkevin 1 Quote

bobscroll Posted May 26, 2015 Report Posted May 26, 2015 Hi again Wayne, In Inkscape to increase the size of the background letters I hold "Ctrl" and press zero until it is the size I want it to be, If I want to do the reverse I hold "Ctrl" and press nine, I hope that helps you!
