Tremendous.  I am so proud of our military.  Takes me back when I was a member of our base drill team although nothing like that.  I was in the color guard and we marched in parades all over Arizona and also participated in a lot of military funerals.

My Dad served in WW1.  3 sons in our family.  Oldest was career Army.  2 of the 4 were wounded on the battlefield.  I & 1 other brother served in peace time.  Only fighting we ever saw was in a bar on a Friday night.  After serving, I and a brother always dropped what we were doing to be a part of the firing squad.  After retiring from the service, the oldest brother folded the flag at the cemetery and presented it to the next of kin.

To this day, I cannot listen to Taps being played without choking.

Every American should visit Arlington National Cemetery and watch the Changing of the Guard.
